Dr. Peng's primary research area is in Image Processing. He is also very active in signal processing and parallel computing research areas. Dr. Peng is supervising the Digital Signal Processing lab at the Scott Technology Center.

Dr. Peng has collaborated with TEL in several projects, such as the Creighton microscopy project, Wireless Sensor Networks and the L3 Satellite project. He is also assisting us in our Content Based Video Indexing project.

 

Most recently he has, in collaboration with TEL, established the WISE-COM lab, intended for research in collaborative multimedia in wireless sensor networks.
