Puttipong joined us from Bangkok, the capitol city of Thailand. He has a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Kasetsart University. He worked as a network engineer for a year before he decided to pursue a higher degree in the United States. Puttipong have started working towards his Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln from where he also got his Master degree in Telecommunications Engineering. His projects and research areas involve MAC and PHY layer protocols for Wireless LANs (IEEE 802.11), performance evaluation in wireless networks and network simulations.
