Information
The AccessGrid Project was initiated to experiment and exploit broadcasting multicast video across Internet2. This was also used to set up a real time video conferencing system that was cost effective and yet did not sacrifice quality. Over the months that followed, we ended up experimenting with a plethora of sound cards, video capture cards, cameras, echo cancellers and projectors to come up with an efficient design for our AccessGrid Node.

More details about the AccessGrid and the AccessGrid Project can be found on their web page at www.accessgrid.org
